It occurs to me that ‘Type’ is the wrong title for a lot of these green books, ‘The Fred & Fabien Files’ would be more appropriate given the amount of work by Woodward and Baron.
Love this – a great time for photography and type. I was busy collecting all the Vogue Italia mags I could at the time (some seen here) – with fantastic layouts by Fabien Baron and classic shots from the likes of Albert Watson, Herb Ritts, Bruce Weber.
You should publish these ‘scrapbooks!’

I may have blown that idea Ashley; everyone who may have been interested in a book of them have now seen them for free.
I’ve been amazed at how many views these green books have had, I’ll post more. Best, D.

Dave, do no agree! This is exactly the right stuff for the book. I’ve seen everything you’ve posted and the more I see, the more I crave the book. I bet it is not only me. There is quite a big audience of art directors/creative directors over 30 – you know, those old timers, who can’t focus on anything on the screen!
